Before you ask, we already did
Do I need to install anything on our servers, or get IT involved?
No. Just install the software on the factory PC that's already near your equipment. No server to provision, no database to stand up, no domain join. It's a copy-and-run install, and it works fully offline from the first minute.
Does my PLC data leave the building?
Only if you choose a plan that syncs it. On Basic, live data never leaves the PC, under any connectivity condition. That's a hard boundary in the product, not a setting you can misconfigure. Standard and above sync live values to power the Remote Dashboard. Basic still backs up dashboard layout (not live values) once a day so you can recover from a lost PC.
What protocols and systems can I actually connect to?
Modbus TCP and RTU (serial), OPC UA, Siemens S7 (direct DB/marker read), Allen-Bradley/Rockwell EtherNet/IP, Mitsubishi and other SLMP devices, MQTT, NI-DAQmx data acquisition hardware, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and MySQL (read-only, enforced at both the query parser and the database credential level), and any HTTP/REST JSON API with custom headers and auth tokens.
What happens if the plant loses internet?
Nothing stops. The software keeps polling every connected input and keeps the local dashboard running exactly as normal off its local data store. Once connectivity returns, config and (on Standard and above) live data resume syncing automatically. No manual reconnect step needed.
How does Remote Web Dashboard pricing work?
Each account gets exactly one Remote Web Dashboard, so Standard and Pro are priced per account, not per device or per dashboard. Standard includes one concurrent viewer session; need more people watching at once, talk to us. Sign-in is email and a one-time code, and only one install can be actively licensed to an account at a time, so data from two machines can never conflict.
