Remote Web Dashboard
The Remote Web Dashboard lets supervisors and off-floor teams view your published dashboard live from any browser, at dashboard.signalstreamstudio.com— no Studio installation on the viewing machine.
Remote viewing needs Standard plan or higher. On Basic, this URL shows "Remote Dashboard not available" — upgrade to unlock it. See Plans & Device Licensing.
Signing in
The remote dashboard uses the same email + one-time-code sign-in as Studio (see Login & Accounts), but it's a separate session — logging in here doesn't log you out of Studio, and vice versa. There's no dashboard picker: since every account has exactly one dashboard, you land straight on it after verifying your code.
What you see
The remote dashboard renders your published layout exactly as it appears locally, scaled to fit your screen, updating live as new values arrive. It's view-only — nothing here lets you edit widgets or add inputs; that's done in Studio's editor (see Dashboard & Canvas Editor).
- Nothing published yet. If you haven't hit Publish in Studio, the remote dashboard shows a "Nothing published" message instead of a blank canvas.
- STUDIO ONLINE / STUDIO OFFLINE. A status indicator in the top bar shows whether your Studio PC is actively streaming data. If no new values arrive for about 10 seconds, the dashboard flags itself offline and dims the canvas rather than silently freezing on stale numbers — so you never mistake old data for current data.
Concurrent viewer limits
Your plan includes a number of concurrent remote-viewer sessions (Standard: 1, higher tiers and add-on purchases: more). If that many people already have the remote dashboard open and another viewer tries to connect, they'll see a "Viewer limit reached" screen with a link to purchase an additional screen, and a Retry button to reconnect once a slot frees up (e.g. someone else closes their tab).
Asking questions about your data (Pro and Enterprise)
On Pro and Enterprise plans, a Chat button opens a side panel where you can type a question about the current state of your dashboard's inputs and get an answer back, instead of hunting for the right widget yourself.
